My drive and passion in healthcare was sparked by a series of health events in my young adulthood, which gave me first-hand experience with how frustrating the connection can be between care providers and their patients. I have worked in healthcare throughout my life (inspired by my nurse mother) and been a nurse for over a decade. For the first 12 years of my nursing career, I worked in emergency rooms and as a flight nurse. Over 5 years ago, I made the transition into women’s health and felt like I had finally found my home. Over those years, I’ve come to really understand just how big the gaps are in women’s health and am proud to be serving women during the most critical transitions in their lives. As a doula and advocate, I  was committed to bridging that gap between patients and their care team, helping patients feel more confident and empowered in their healthcare decisions, and educating them along the way. As a midwife, I am continuing with those goals and strive to provide individualized, patient-centered care to women throughout their lifespan, including during pregnancy.

I live in Union, Missouri, with my High School Sweetheart of over 24 years, our 2 teenage sons (one still at home), our cherished Great Dane, Molly, and two Blue Heeler puppies Mia & Stella. I support patients in Franklin, St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, Crawford, Phelps, Osage, and Gasconade counties.
